I Have Walked This Path

My story

From Ethiopia to a U.S. RN license

My name is Ruhama Deneberu, RN, BSN. I began my nursing journey in Ethiopia and later navigated the complex process of becoming a licensed registered nurse in the United States.

Although official information was available, I experienced firsthand how difficult it could be to understand state requirements, credential verification, applications, documents, deadlines, and NCLEX preparation, especially while adjusting to a new country and healthcare system.

Over the years, I began helping other internationally educated nurses navigate the same process. I saw that information alone was not always enough. Many nurses needed someone to explain each requirement clearly, help them organize their documents, answer their questions patiently, and guide them from one step to the next.

I created BridgeRN to provide that missing bridge. My purpose is to help internationally educated nurses move forward with clarity, confidence, and dependable support, from the first application step through NCLEX preparation and licensure.
